The article examines the features of personnel management in enterprises under conditions of international integration, taking into account contemporary globalization processes, intensified international competition, digital transformation of the economy, and wartime challenges caused by the full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. It is substantiated that in the context of international integration, personnel management is transforming from a predominantly internal managerial function into a strategic tool for ensuring the competitiveness, resilience, and adaptability of enterprises in the global economic environment.
The study analyzes the main scientific approaches to international human resource management and identifies key HRM challenges related to the combination of global corporate standards with local legal, socio-economic, and cultural specificities. Particular emphasis is placed on the growing role of cross-cultural management, talent management, the development of intercultural competence, and the implementation of flexible motivational and development practices.
Special attention is paid to the specifics of personnel management in Ukrainian enterprises in the context of European integration, wartime instability, business relocation, labor shortages, and post-war economic recovery. The necessity of adapting HR strategies to international labor standards, digital human resource management technologies, and inclusive HR practices is substantiated, particularly with regard to the integration of veterans and individuals affected by the war.
The results of the study have practical significance for enterprise managers, HR managers, and human resource specialists and may be used in the formation and improvement of personnel policies of enterprises operating in an international environment or undergoing integration into the European economic space
