ANALYSIS OF THE POSSIBILITIES OF APPLICATION OF THE CLUSTER APPROACH AS AN INDICATOR OF THE ECONOMIC SECURITY LEVEL OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

Abstract

The approaches of scientists to the interpretation of the essence of the category "economic security of the region" are considered. It is established that domestic and international practice have an extensive set of special indicators that allow to fully assess the state of economic security of the region and take into account the specifics of its development. It is proved that integration tendencies of development of social and economic systems change accents at formation of indicators of level of their economic safety which are connected, first of all, with that subjects of market economy at the expense of integrative interaction receive additional competitive advantages which synergistically influence. for the development of both macro- and mesoeconomics.

It is concluded that the threats to the economic security of regions identified in the works of scientists can be overcome to a greater extent by forming clusters, respectively, the creation of territorial and sectoral associations in the economy may indicate an increase in its economic security. The effectiveness of the cluster mechanism is also due to the reduction of the element of uncertainty and a high degree of predictability of the market situation for all participants in the cluster. Thus, it is concluded that to ensure sustainable development of Ukraine as a whole and its individual regions, it is necessary to develop and implement a consistent cluster policy.

The role of clusters in the formation of a security-oriented management system of socio-economic systems is analyzed. The format of examination of the assessment of the impact of clusters on the economic security and competitiveness of the region has been improved in accordance with domestic needs.
