Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations as well as applied aspects of the formation of supply chain management strategies in the modern economy. Strategic models and components of strategic supply chain management in the logistics business are identified. An algorithm for strategic supply chain management in the context of logistics business development is proposed.

The transformation of supply chain management from an operational function into a strategic management paradigm determining the level of competitiveness, resilience, and adaptability of enterprises is substantiated. The evolution of scientific approaches to supply chain management is analyzed, particularly the transition from a focus on cost minimization to integration, risk management, and digitalization of business processes.

The key supply chain management strategies are generalized, including extensive coverage, concentration on key channels, individualized service, and operational flexibility. Their advantages, limitations, and conditions for effective implementation are identified. The expediency of forming hybrid strategic models is proved, and the key role of digitalization as a basic infrastructural condition for the effective functioning of supply chains is emphasized.
