Abstract

The article substantiates the relevance of improving the management of innovation and investment processes of industrial sector enterprises in the context of dynamic economic transformations caused by globalization processes, technological changes, and internal challenges. In conditions of economic instability, particularly due to military actions and crisis phenomena, effective management of innovation and investment activities becomes a determining factor in ensuring competitiveness, technological modernization of production, and sustainable development of enterprises. The purpose of the article is to study the theoretical foundations of managing innovation and investment processes of enterprises, to substantiate approaches to the identification and evaluation of influencing factors, and to determine their significance for enhancing the efficiency of industrial sector enterprises development under modern economic conditions.

It has been proven that the development of industrial enterprises largely depends on the complex interaction of factors at different levels – macroeconomic, industry-specific, and internal. The study emphasizes the role of innovation potential, investment activity, the level of digitalization, and the effectiveness of the institutional environment as key drivers of enterprise development.

The research proposes a methodological approach to the formation and evaluation of influencing factors, which is based on the integration of systemic, institutional, and resource-based approaches and reflects the interconnection between the external environment, industry conditions, internal enterprise potential, and performance outcomes. The proposed approach makes it possible to systematize influencing factors, determine their hierarchy, and assess the nature of their interaction.

The obtained results will contribute to improving the management efficiency of industrial enterprises, strengthening their innovation activity, increasing competitiveness, and ensuring sustainable development in the face of modern economic challenges.
