Abstract

It has been proven that in the context of globalization, intensifying international competition, economic digitalization, and increasing demands for management efficiency, corporate culture serves as one of the key intangible factors in the development of business entities. It shapes the system of values, determines the management style, and influences employee motivation, engagement levels, and the ability of enterprises to innovate and adapt to changes in the external environment.

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of global experience in the development of corporate culture and summarizes modern approaches to its formation in different countries. The features of the American, Japanese, and German models of corporate culture are examined, reflecting various approaches to enterprise management. It has been established that the American model is based on innovation, flexibility, and result orientation; the Japanese model emphasizes collectivism, long-term orientation, and continuous improvement principles; while the German model focuses on systematic management, high-quality standards, and social partnership. It has been identified that the Ukrainian practice of corporate culture development is characterized by several challenges, including insufficient awareness of its strategic role, fragmented implementation, weak integration into the management system, and limited use of international experience. Additional negative impacts include economic instability, wartime conditions, and a high level of uncertainty, which complicate the formation of an effective corporate culture. The necessity of adapting the best global practices of corporate culture to the conditions of Ukrainian enterprises has been substantiated. An integrated model of corporate culture development is proposed, combining the innovation and flexibility of the American approach, the collectivism and continuous improvement of the Japanese model, and the systematic and socially oriented nature of the German practice. It is emphasized that the implementation of such a model will enhance the efficiency of business entities, strengthen their competitive positions, and ensure sustainable development. The need for further research is identified, particularly in the development of practical mechanisms for implementing corporate culture, methods for assessing its impact on enterprise performance, and approaches to transforming corporate culture in the context of digitalization and global challenges.
