Abstract

The authors of the article considered the prerequisites for the development of small enterprises of the garment industry in terms of market and competition. Aspects of the organization and production design of small enterprises in the garment industry are described. The modern concept of the forms and methods of designing garment production at low-capacity enterprises, the management of assortment policy, and the organization of technological and production processes for the manufacture of garment products have been studied.

In the study, the authors revealed the prospects for the development of small enterprises of the garment industry, which can quickly respond to changes in consumer demand. They are more receptive to technical innovations and ensure quick payback of costs.

This article shows that the organizational stability of the functioning of modern small enterprises is mainly ensured by the development of new production design technologies. The revealed promising areas of reorganization are the use of flexible production systems with a dynamic organizational structure, most suitable for the rapid release of new products and their prompt delivery to the market.

In the article, the authors drew conclusions about the implementation of flexible production systems in the garment industry, which opens up real opportunities for creating open flexible structures that have integrity, target orientation from the point of view of economic activity, the possibility of quick and economically profitable reorganization of the composition, structure and organization of flexible production systems, taking into account changes in the market.
