MANAGEMENT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENTERPRISE IN THE CONDITIONS OF A DYNAMIC EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The development of the enterprise is an indispensable process that is based on taking into account changes in the operating environment and requires management. Management of the development of a modern enterprise must be built taking into account the significant trends that are taking place at the moment or are predicted in the future. These trends include digitalization of all spheres of life, which is reflected in various aspects of economic activity. The possibilities of digital technology were particularly emphasized by the pandemic, which reflected the current state of affairs of every enterprise with digital technologies and skills. The consequence of the pandemic was a significant transformation of personnel development management, which moved to a virtual format. Knowledge management, until recently, was the main key trend that needed to be taken into account in the management of the development of personnel and enterprises. However, the rapid development of artificial intelligence can completely transform approaches to the value of knowledge as such. The development of AI is capable of significantly changing economic activity around the world. We propose to highlight the following aspects where, in our opinion, significant changes are expected: the emergence of new products and services directly related to artificial intelligence; changes in production processes associated with the growth of the share of AI; adjusting the enterprise management system taking into account new opportunities that arise when using AI; the transformation of social relations at the enterprise, which is caused by the increase in the specific weight of AI, and, therefore, the replacement of human labor; the emergence of new risks in the world community caused by the emergence of new types of knowledge and opportunities that can be used for military purposes. Understanding the indicated directions of possible transformation, economic connections, is necessary to take them into account in the development of enterprise development strategies, building and ensuring the effectiveness of the enterprise development management system.
