The purpose of the study is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations of the functional development architecture of socio-economic systems in the services sector and to identify the patterns of their transformation, taking into account temporal dynamics, multiplicative effects, and the regional context. The methodological framework of the research relies on a comprehensive integration of system and functional approaches, methods of structural and logical analysis, synthesis, comparative assessment, and cause-and-effect modeling. The research conceptualizes the functional architecture of socio-economic systems in the service sector, encompassing five interconnected contours: economic, social, technological, managerial, and client-oriented. It is demonstrated that systemic development occurs as a continuous, cyclical transition where the completion of one phase creates organizational and resource foundations for the next. The study identifies key patterns of system transformation, emphasizing temporal asynchrony (differences in the speed of response across subsystems) and the emergence of multiplicative effects, where targeted investments in technology induce chain reactions throughout managerial and client domains. On the empirical data of the Western Macroregion of JSC Ukrtelecom, it is proved that infrastructure modernization (GPON deployment) acts as a core system integrator, translating capital investments into enhanced service quality, customer base expansion, and sustainable financial growth. The impact of spatial asymmetries and regional security risks under crisis conditions on the trajectory of system development is substantiated. The scientific novelty lies in the conceptualization of the functional architecture of system development in the service sector, which organically integrates temporal asynchrony, multiplicative inter-subsystem dependencies, and spatial-regional determinants into a unified analytical paradigm. The practical value of the findings resides in shifting the management paradigm from fragmentally managing isolated indicators toward synchronizing the temporal dynamics of functional contours, thereby maximizing systemic returns and ensuring long-term competitiveness. Future research prospects involve developing quantitative mathematical models to measure time lags and multiplicative coefficients between functional contours under macroeconomic instability.
