The aggravation of spatial disparities in the socio-economic development of the regions of Ukraine and the need to find effective tools to overcome them in the conditions of modern transformations lead to increased attention to the role of innovative business processes. The article examines the impact of innovative business processes on the socio-economic development of the regions of Ukraine in conditions of spatial unevenness. The essence of the region as a socio-economic system is substantiated and the role of innovative business processes as a mechanism for transforming its potential into development results is determined. It is established that in conditions of military challenges and transformation of the spatial structure of the economy, innovative processes are characterized by a tendency to concentration in economically developed regions, which leads to a deepening of spatial disparities. It is proved that the key problem is not the lack of innovations, but their uneven territorial distribution. A logical model of the relationship between the potential of the region, innovative business processes and the results of their implementation is presented, which allows us to visualize alternative scenarios for the development of territories. An approach to the formation of a mechanism for the effective implementation of innovative business processes is proposed, aimed at ensuring their uniform distribution and reducing spatial disparities, taking into account regional characteristics, the institutional environment and the level of infrastructure development, which contributes to increasing the balance of socio-economic development of territories. Key elements of the mechanism for the effective implementation of innovative business processes are identified, in particular institutional support, financial and economic instruments, human capital development, infrastructure and intersectoral interaction. The results obtained can be used by public authorities and business entities to form effective management decisions aimed at reducing regional disparities through the implementation of innovative business processes.
