TRENDS OF BRICS COUNTRIES DEVELOPMENT IN THE WORLD ECONOMIC SYSTEM

The article examines the current trends in the development of the countries of transregional integration cooperation BRICS, which covers 4 parts of the world and 3 continents, 49.5% of the world's population, 40% of the world's GDP, uniting the largest economies of developing countries for creating an alternative center of influence and, due to the presence of a powerful labor potential, natural and capital resources, has significant economic advantages. It is noted that in their regions, the BRICS counries play important geostrategic roles, exerting significant political influence.
The structure of the association, the desire of some other countries to integrate into BRICS, as well as areas for expanding cooperation between member countries, including the fight against terrorism, climate change, food and energy security, international economic and financial cooperation, telecommunications, agriculture, labor and employment, trade, and educational projects, are considered.
The resource potential and development prospects of the BRICS leading countries, the dynamics of the main macroeconomic indicators are analyzed. Based on the analysis, conclusions are drawn about the uneven development of the leading countries of the bloc, which is due to the existence of disparities in the dynamics of the considered macroeconomic indicators. It is emphasized that the unconditional dominance in the bloc is observed for China, while other states demonstrate different rates of change in development trends, which indicates some instability and flexibility of this transregional integration association. It is substantiated that BRICS is actively expanding, controlling significant amounts of resources, forming partnerships, spheres of influence, and this turns it into a powerful geopolitical center.
