Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of forming innovation-adaptive approaches to the management of industrial enterprises under conditions of digital transformation of the economy. It is substantiated that the current stage of business environment development is characterized by a high level of turbulence, macroeconomic instability, digitalization, and rapid technological change, which necessitate the revision of traditional corporate management models. It is proved that rigidly regulated management systems focused mainly on retrospective analysis of information lose their effectiveness in a dynamic market environment due to significant time lags between the emergence of external threats and managerial decision-making.

The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical justification for the essence of innovation-adaptive approaches to the formation of an effective enterprise management system based on the application of the structural-decomposition analysis method to key categories. Within the framework of the research, an in-depth analysis of the concepts of “digitalization,” “management,” “effective system,” “adaptation,” and “innovation” was carried out. It has been established that the isolated functioning of these elements cannot ensure a sufficient level of enterprise viability under conditions of uncertainty, whereas their integration forms the basis for creating a proactive management system.

A hierarchical model of an innovation-adaptive management system is proposed, which includes an information-basic level based on ERP systems, an analytical level using economic and mathematical modeling, an innovation-technological level involving the implementation of artificial intelligence, OCR, and RPA technologies, as well as a managerial level for strategic decision-making. It is substantiated that a modern effective management system should combine mechanisms for rapid adaptation of business processes to external changes with the continuous implementation of innovative digital tools.

As a result of the scientific synthesis, the concept of innovation-adaptive management has been formed as a comprehensive methodology of proactive corporate development that enables the transformation of corporate data from a tool for recording historical events into a basis for risk assessment and managerial decision-making in real time. The practical significance of the research lies in creating a theoretical foundation for improving the competitiveness, sustainability, and efficiency of domestic industrial enterprises in the digital environment.
