THE ROLE OF SALES LOGISTICS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF COMMERCIAL, CHANNEL AND PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTIONS OF FINISHED GOODS

The article is devoted to the management of sales processes using logistics methods. The efficiency of logistics in the country affects the economic growth of economic entities and their attractiveness to foreign investors. The world's leading countries spend a lot of resources on improving their own logistics infrastructure and achieve sustainable competitive advantages on this basis. The functioning of enterprises in a market economy requires a fundamentally new approach to solving problems and using modern methods of commercial work. Therefore, there is a need for effective logistics distribution. Distribution or sales logistics is the management of transportation, warehousing and other tangible and intangible operations. These operations are carried out in the process of bringing the finished goods to the consumer, as well as the transmission, storage and processing of information.
Sales logistics is related to other elements of the logistics system. These elements include procurement, information, transport and other components of integrated logistics.
The authors emphasize that the organization of sales of marketable products is aimed at achieving the end results. Ukraine, there are some debatable issues regarding sales logistics and the formation of a proper theoretical basis for it. The main aspect of the study of logistics theory is the question of terminology and conceptual apparatus. An important part of logistics theory is a set of effective methods that are insufficiently researched. An actual problem at the present stage of development of the theory of logistics is the formation of its methodological basis. Ukrainian scientists are studying the methodological basis of logistics. But this area should be given more attention. The paper describes the basic concepts and functions of sales and the existing sales management system. The article emphasizes that distribution logistics affects the planning, implementation and current control over the sale of products to the consumer. This determines a reasonable choice of organizational forms and methods of sales.
