Abstract

The article is devoted to the fact that one of the obstacles to economic development is an imperfect mechanism of staff motivation, which affects the level of labor productivity and staff engagement. Strategic decision-making and their changes are directly related to the development of HR strategy and policy. Ineffective decisions contribute to a decrease in social security and a reduction in the level of social benefits in the compensation package, which are important components of the staff compensation package.

The study of the compensation package requires constant monitoring at the enterprise, since in conditions of instability, especially during the war, when the organization's staff is most vulnerable.   The study of the structure of the payroll fund, compensation package, and motivational profiles was carried out on the example of bakery enterprises in Sumy region. Employers are forced to look for new approaches to developing a compensation package, taking into account possible social, economic, and other risks, while ensuring the sustainable development of the organization.

In today's environment, when the war creates psychological pressure, takes lives, and disrupts the normal working rhythm, it is important to pay attention to staff motivation.

At the same time, the company's HR management goals should be consistent with the business environment in which the organization operates. Classical approaches to motivation, such as those focused on financial incentives, cannot be considered the only means of motivational policy. The interests of the company and employees in achieving safety in the workplace are the primary need and must be taken into account (this is especially true in the case of the heavily shelled Sumy region). The means of motivation will also differ, as there are different ways to achieve this goal. Thus, especially in today's environment, it is important to motivate the components of social security of employees on a regular schedule.
