THE ROLE AND TASKS OF THE ENTREPRENEUR IN ACHIEVING ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF SUNFLOWER OIL PRODUCTION

The article examines scientific approaches to determining the role and tasks of an entrepreneur in achieving the efficiency of economic activity. It was established that the owner should play a key role in management and take part in the development of the correct business model, business planning system, building a corporate culture, rationalization of production, commercial, investment, and financial work of the enterprise. On the basis of the conducted research, a generalization is made, according to which the owner needs to show characteristic skills, abilities and intuition to ensure the profitability of his sunflower oil production business, this is his main role among other participants.Regardless of the level of the entrepreneur's presence in business activities, he performs various tasks for the continuity of production processes, the sale of products and the formation of certain performance indicators. The main tasks of the owner of the sunflower oil production enterprise include: conducting negotiations with the participants of the external environment; participation in the price policy for raw materials and finished products; identification of promising directions for the development of production infrastructure; control of sunflower seed processing and output; determining the expediency of carrying out capital repairs of production facilities and updating equipment; control of the tax burden; participation in determining the scope of financing activities, search for sources of financing; control of economic indicators; cash flow control; determination of prospective business operation plans; approval of the feasibility of introducing innovations; participation in the justification of innovation and investment projects; approval of the main provisions of marketing work; approval of sales markets, sales prices of products, personal terms of sale for individual buyers; participation in justifying the size of storage facilities; approval of payment systems; control of the social responsibility of the enterprise.
