Abstract

In today's world, the educational process cannot do without the use of digital tools. But the diversity of the tools themselves requires a systematic analysis to determine the most effective solutions for optimizing various areas of educational activity. This is especially important in crisis situations, such as pandemics or military conflicts, when the need for distance or blended learning becomes critical. The purpose of the article is to study the possibilities of using digital tools in domestic higher educational institutions from the point of view of developing recommendations for their optimal integration to optimize the educational process. The work analyses the possibilities, advantages and disadvantages of individual digital tools used in the educational process, in particular the digital platforms Moodle, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and provides recommendations on their selection depending on the needs and resources of the educational institution.

A SWOT analysis of the process of forming a digital educational environment in the world was carried out, its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats were determined. The problems of the process of forming a virtual educational environment in Ukraine are highlighted.

Recommendations have been made regarding the optimization of the educational process of domestic higher educational institutions using digital means, in particular, in the areas of organizing distance learning, supporting traditional learning, increasing the interactivity of the educational process, involving non-formal education, forming the practical skills of students, finding work for university graduates, organizing scientific research, personalization of education and psychological support of students. Conclusions were drawn, directions for further research were outlined - determination of directions for the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process.
